Victorian State Championship Series

Get in the race to be champion across the VIC Championship Series with six championship events included in the 24/25 series.

The 2024/25 Victorian State Series (State Series) title is awarded to both individuals (State Series Award) and clubs/squads (State Series Shield) based on results from selected multisport events across the 2024/25 season.

Individuals must be a Victorian based AusTriathlon member to be eligible. State Series Award winners will be ranked in age groups and accrue points from the nominated State Series events.

Titles 

Individual State Championship Medals for podium finishes in male and female age group categories, and multiclass at selected events.

Points accrued in each race go towards the overall State Series Individual Championship, and towards the Club Championship and Performance Championship awards presented at the Annual VIC Awards.

Race, gain points, get crowned the regional series champion in Triathlon in Victoria!

The 2024/25 Triathlon & Multisport VIC Regional Series (Regional Series) title is awarded to both individuals (Regional Series Award) and clubs/squads (Regional Series Shield) based on results from selected multisport events across the 2024/25 season.

Individuals must be a AusTriathlon member to be eligible, either Victorian based, or a border resident that is linked to Victorian affiliated club. Regional Series Award winners will be ranked in age groups and accrue points from the nominated ‘Regional Series’ events.

Frankston Running Festival

Frankston Running Festival

Run the Pen's newest event on the fun run calendar is the Frankston Running Festival will be back in year 2. This will be a return course with the start/finish line at Frankston waterfront (Frankston Pier) to Keast Park Seaford on Sunday 17 November 2024. This will be an opportunity for elite athletes and fun run enthusiasts to have a unique experience running along a traffic-free Nepean Highway with the unmissable and stunning backdrop of Port Phillip Bay.

The weekend features a variety of running & walking events to suit all ages and fitness levels. All finishers receive a finishers medal.

2XU Tri Series

2XU Triathlon Series welcomes all who wish to challenge themselves over the summer with entry to the Sprint Distance triathlons (Race 1 – 5) building to an Olympic Distance in Race 6. Additionally, we have Olympic Distances at both Races 3 and 4 as well as a Sprint Distance at Race 6 although these events do not contribute to series points. Age is calculated as at 31/12/24 for all 24/25 series races.

The race itself will feature a swim in one of the world’s largest freshwater lakes, a bike course through New Zealand’s renowned rural landscape and a run course which takes in views of the lakefront that will be lined with spectator and local support.

Two Bays Trail Run is planned to be held on Sunday 12th January 2025 at 7am for 28km runners and 7:10am for 56km runners. (Fallback date of Sun 19th Jan, eg. in case of total fire ban day.)
